About
Why Rumana?
A pomegranate looks like one shape from the outside — but inside, a whole world of seeds. Each seed different, yet all belonging to the same fruit.
The saying that named us
هي مو رمانة بس القلوب مليانة
She is not just a pomegranate — hearts are full.
An Iraqi saying born from a real family moment: a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law fought fiercely over a pomegranate. But it was never about the fruit. It was months of feelings, unspoken needs, and built-up tension finding a single spark. The pomegranate became a symbol: what looks like a small refusal on the surface often carries a whole history underneath.
Behind every behavior, every refusal, every outburst, lies an accumulation of tiredness, worry, attempts, love — and a heart that does not sleep. We built Rumana for every parent and professional who knows that what people see in a single moment is not the whole story.
Rumana is for every mother, every father, every educator.
Our goal is not to change our children.
Our goal is to understand them, support them, and walk with them.
